Popular pain pills WON’T work… but here’s what does!

Don’t you love the old commercials for health products?

Who could forget those old gum commercials where “4 out of 5 dentists” agreed on which brand you should chew?

Tell me — why the heck were dentists holding secret meetings about chewing gum anyway???

But that gives me an idea for a new “throwback” ad for NSAID pain pills.

Just don’t expect to see this one on TV anytime soon.

Let’s just say it’s the opposite of an endorsement — because if patients got together and took a survey of the results for back and neck pain, you’d get this little gem for that snazzy new commercial:

“Five out of 6 patients agree: These meds STINK!”

We don’t even need to hold a meeting — secret or otherwise — because a stunning new study exposes the empty promises of these meds, revealing how they DON’T work in any clinically meaningful way for most patients.

The new review looked at “gold standard” studies of NSAIDs for some of today’s most common forms of chronic pain, including neck pain, low back pain, and sciatica.

I could sort through each one for you, but I’d be wasting your time.

But let me sum it up for you: The meds were a turkey for every condition, and by just about any standard.

Not only that, but just about anything — and I mean ANYTHING — can cause a small improvement in back pain. So, for a drug to “work” in a meaningful way, it has to improve pain by at least 10 points, as measured by common assessments.

But NSAIDs can’t meet that basic minimum.

The meds improve pain over the short term by 7.7 points. Over two or three weeks — just a little longer — they improve pain by 9.2 points.

But even that doesn’t cut it.

They also don’t improve disability, quality of life, or even mental health (a.k.a. when you’re literally being driven out of your mind by your pain).

Zip, zilch, nada, thanks for playing.

The meds are so futile that the study finds you need to treat five people to help just one in the short term.

Adding to that complete non-benefit, the drugs can lead to MORE pain in ANOTHER part of your body, ripping up your gut so bad you could experience anything from tummy aches and diarrhea to nasty bleeding ulcers.

So, what can you do?

I’ve got a better solution — and it can work in seconds! Soothanol X2 from my colleagues at NorthStar Nutritionals contains a potent blend of pain relievers including menthol and capsaicin

It’s so powerful that just a few drops rubbed into a trouble spot can cause pain to vanish within 45 seconds.
