One MAJOR problem with the gluten-free diet

Ever see what happens to someone who goes gluten-free? Most of them end up eating more rice than Snap, Crackle, and Pop put together.

They don’t trade foods with wheat for healthy meats and dairy.

They end up eating the EXACT SAME JUNK they always did, but with rice flour instead of wheat flour: rice cakes, rice cookies, rice crackers, rice noodles, rice milk, and all the other rice junk that’s selling like gluten-free hotcakes these days.

Now, the latest research shows dieters are paying the price — and it’s not just the extra buck tacked on for a “gluten-free” product.

It’s because the rice itself is loaded with poison!

Rice roots act like a giant straw in the dirt, and the plant is absolutely thirsty for anything in that soil – ESPECIALLY metals, including poisonous mercury and the toxic metalloid arsenic.

The result?

Every sticky little grain you eat… every bit that’s dried up and turned into “rice flour”… and every sip of watery rice “milk” can have trace levels of mercury, arsenic, and more.

The more of it you eat and drink, the more poison you’re pumping into your body.

Folks who’ve quit gluten practically eat it by the shovel – and, as a result, gluten-free dieters in the new study had DOUBLE the urine levels of arsenic when compared to everyone else.

And their blood tests revealed 70 PERCENT more mercury. That’s enough mercury to tell the temperature without a thermometer!

The study didn’t go any further, but I wouldn’t be surprised if gluten-free dieters had higher levels of other metals, too — including dangerous heavy metals like cadmium and tungsten.

I guess on the plus side, the gluten-free diet generally lasts about as long as every other diet most folks try.

It’s over in months, if not weeks.

On the downside, if you’re the rare bird who goes gluten-free and sticks to it, you could be letting this stuff build up in your body – increasing your risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, brain problems, and more.

I don’t want to scare you away from this diet. If you want to go gluten-free, be my guest.

But if you think you can get healthy by swapping your favorite junk foods for the gluten-free versions of those same foods – whether they’re made with rice, corn, or crushed-up dreams – you’re deluding yourself.

So, do yourself a favor, and don’t just give up gluten. Give up ALL processed foods — and most of the rest of the carbs with it.
