Sink your teeth into this plan to fight pneumonia

The flu is like a Kardashian: sickening, unpleasant, and constantly hogging up the media’s attention!

The truth is, we’ve got much bigger things to worry about.

Even the CDC is busy feeding the hype machine, pushing flu shots with the claim that 55,000 Americans are killed by flu and pneumonia every year.

Did you catch that last part?

Pneumonia’s the bigger issue here. The CDC lumps them together, but what they won’t tell you is that nearly ALL of those deaths — more than 50,000 of the 55,000 — are from pneumonia, NOT the flu!

And despite what you’ve heard… despite what your own doc has probably told you… more than 90 percent of pneumonia cases are completely unrelated to the flu.

So let me do what the CDC and its pals in the mindless media won’t.

Let me tell you how to stay healthy this winter and avoid pneumonia — because the latest research spots a simple, safe, and effective way of slashing your risk of this infection.

Visit the dentist!

The new study finds folks who visit the dentist twice a year are 86 percent less likely to get pneumonia. That makes regular dental cleanings nearly FOUR TIMES more effective than the weak sauce in the pneumonia vaccine!

And unlike the vaccine, which comes with side effects, dental visits will leave you with cleaner, stronger teeth and a brighter smile.

See, your mouth is like a festering pit of germs — really! It’s got everything a nasty little virus or bacteria could possibly want: warmth, moisture, and plenty of food.

The dirtier your mouth — and I don’t mean so-called “locker-room talk,” but actual filth — the better the chances a few stray germs can form a colony and build strength.

And once they do, look out — because they have easy access to the rest of your body from there!

On the other hand, keep your mouth clean, and they can never take hold.

Of course, two visits a year won’t do the trick alone. But the type of person who goes twice a year is undoubtedly the type to take better care of their teeth and gums overall.

They brush AND floss — and so should you!

The best way to have a clean mouth — free of germs, including the ones behind pneumonia — is to make your own paste with a mix of baking soda and 3 percent hydrogen peroxide.

Rinse with the peroxide when you’re done, and no nasty bugs will stand a chance in there.
