SHOCKING new secret to brain health

Ready for a laugh?

There’s a new study out that claims the secret to giving your brain more power is to literally give it more power.

They want you to put electrodes on your head and zap away, delivering steady low currents into your gourd for an extra boost of brain juice.

Best of all, you’re supposed to do this while you sleep.

I’m not even sure it’s possible to sleep when you can smell your gray matter frying. And what does it smell like anyway… bacon?

And what kind of person volunteers to sleep with low levels of electricity zipping through the brain?

But apparently, there ARE folks willing to do this — and they’re not prisoners hoping for early release in exchange. Sixteen men agreed to take part in this study, taking memory tests before and after they slept with transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS).

Those are electrodes places on the head, like something out of an old sci-fi horror movie, to deliver the current through the night.

On one test, which pairs words, the brain zaps didn’t make a difference. But they DID improve scores on a test that involves tapping your fingers in a certain sequence.

Yes, you read that right. A finger-tapping test. I told you this was funny.

Apparently, finger-tapping is a measure of motor memory, or the memory that lets you DO stuff… like play guitar or drive a car… although doing slightly better on this little test probably doesn’t mean a whole lot.

But who knows. Maybe it’ll help you beat the grandkids at “Simon.”

In any case, there’s no need to mess around with this nonsense. You can protect and preserve your memory in ways that REALLY matter — including the ability to chase away brain burps and feel sharper than you have in years — and you don’t need to wear a skullcap that shoots electricity into your skull to get it done.

You just need to put more fats down your throat!

Your brain is a big ball of fat, especially the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. Boost your intake, and you’ll boost your brain.

The best way to do that is with fatty fish, grass-fed meats, and an omega-3 supplement.

I’m going to have more on dementia in tomorrow’s Daily Dose. And if you’re at risk for Alzheimer’s… or have a loved one who’s been diagnosed with the disease… you won’t want to miss this one.
