“There’s nothing wrong with you.”
When your doc says that, you want to throttle him — but you can’t, because you don’t have the strength!
You KNOW something’s wrong. You’ve got pain, and not just in one spot. Your joints are screaming and your muscles are howling.
And you’ve got absolutely no energy.
All you want to do is sleep, sleep, sleep… but of course, you can’t sleep — because you’re in so much pain.
Talk about a vicious cycle!
You’ve got the classic signs of Lyme, my friend — a disease most docs can’t even diagnose correctly. And now, the latest research shows they’re just as clueless when it comes to treating it.
If your doc somehow manages to figure out you’ve got Lyme, it’s meds for you — specifically, weeks or even months of powerful antibiotics.
Makes sense on paper, I guess. Lyme is caused by a bacteria spread by ticks… so you need an antibiotic to wipe it out.
But the new study tested multiple antibiotics for MONTHS at a time and found none of the meds mainstream docs typically turn to work any better than a placebo.
In the study, everyone was given a short-term drug for two weeks. Then, for 12 weeks, a third of the patients were given the antibiotic doxycycline… a third got a combination of the antibiotics clarithromycin and hydroxychloroquine… and the rest got a placebo.
That’s a lot of people, a lot of time and a lot of drugs — and when it was all over, they had a lot of nothing to show for it!
All of the patients had the same level of “improvement” which is to say they didn’t improve much at all. Overall, their quality of life started out in the toilet… and ended up there, too.
The new study has rankled the mainstream, and even one Lyme advocacy group is calling on docs to keep dishing out the antibiotics. But there have been four other studies on this, and they’ve ALL come up empty.
Yet docs keep prescribing the meds anyway.
Now, I want to throttle these clowns myself, and I don’t even have Lyme!
There’s more on the line here than patients who don’t get better. Many get WORSE, because they end up battling debilitating drug side effects in addition to Lyme.
If you have or suspect Lyme, it’s time to put your care in the hands of someone who knows what he’s doing — and that’s your local naturopathic MD.
A few years back, naturopathic medicine was accused of fraud for detecting so many cases of Lyme. Then, last year, the CDC dropped a bombshell: Lyme is actually 11 TIMES more common than the mainstream had believed!
I’m sure those naturopaths they accused of fraud aren’t expecting an apology… but they ARE expecting your phone call — because until you get on the horn and make an appointment to see someone who actually knows how to treat this disease, you’re not going to get any better.
If you have or suspect Lyme or any other “mystery” illness, I recommend working closely with a skilled member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine.
