The mainstream’s going to have a hard time explaining this one!
A new study is sending shockwaves across the industry, revealing the single biggest risk factor for heart attack and stroke.
And it’s NOTHING your doctor is treating!
Forget your cholesterol. Forget your blood pressure. You can even forget your diabetes (if you have it) because the new study finds that your fate can hinge on a single condition: calcification.
Calcium deposits in your arteries are such a powerful risk factor for heart attack and stroke that it just might be the ONLY one you need to keep tabs on.
If your arteries are clear… you’re in the clear.
If you have no sign of calcification, then your 10-year risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke is just 3 percent.
The new study looked at some 6,200 people between the ages of 45 and 84 in all kinds of health. Some were just fine by mainstream standards: They had great LDL numbers and athletes’ blood pressure.
But once the calcification crept in, none of those picture-perfect targets made a lick of difference.
Their risk jumped through the roof.
The study finds you have almost NO risk of a heart attack or stroke if you have little to no calcification… and that holds true even if you have high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
Even if you have diabetes, low calcification STILL means low risk!
Normally, researchers are overly cautious with this stuff. They’ll pull out the usual “need more evidence” line before they suggest changing or dropping meds.
Not in this case!
They were so floored by their study they came right out and said folks with “high” cholesterol might not need to take statins if they have no calcification.
And guess what?
Even if you DO have calcification, the answer isn’t in statins. It’s in wiping out those deposits so they don’t build up, stiffen your pipes, and boost your risk.
There’s an easy way to do just that, and that’s with nature’s pipe cleaner: vitamin K.
This powerful nutrient can prevent calcium from gumming up the work… and even help clear out any deposits already building up.
It doesn’t always play nice with certain meds, so make sure your doc signs off on this stuff before you try it.
And if you have more advanced signs of calcification, speak to a holistic naturopathic doctor to see if you might be a candidate for chelation therapy, which can break up calcium deposits and chase them out of your body.
