Fight cancer the tasty way…
With the cancer killer that’s hiding
in your fruit salad

Being diagnosed with cancer is bad enough. But being forced to undergo the treatment that’s supposed to “cure” the cancer is 10 times worse. If the treatment doesn’t kill you, at some point the extreme fatigue, weakness, nausea, mouth sores, loss of bowel control, hair falling out in clumps, neuropathy, intense sensitivity——or any of the other life-ruining side effects ——will make you wish you were dead.

Yet every day, people embrace chemotherapy because they think it’s their only hope against cancer. The doctors who sell this swill ought to have their licenses revoked.

But you don’t need to put your body through an all-out attack in order to fight cancer. The reality is that nature has its own cancer cures all around us. They’re not patented. They’re not FDA approved. And they’re not life-threatening, either. (Oh, and they won’t cost you an arm and a leg!)

In fact, one of the tastiest ones I can think of is hiding out in the produce department of your grocery store. Studies have shown that it’s more powerful than mainstream’s drugs (with none of the side effects), it kills cancer cells directly, it increases survival rates, and it improves the quality of life. And that’s just the short list!

This “magic” fruit isn’t really magic at all. It’s a tasty fruit that’s so common, you might even have it in your house right now.

The secret is in a nutrient called bromelain, which contains protease enzymes. These enzymes are already well-known for their anti-inflammatory, tissue-healing, anti-cancer-supporting properties——and not just by natural medicine practitioners. They’re so accepted for these uses that mainstream doctors routinely use them as part of most cancer treatments to help ease the side effects of chemotherapy.

What these doctors don’t know (but they would, if they bothered to read the latest studies) is that they have a potential cancer cure sitting right under their noses. Easing nasty side effects is the least of bromelain’s benefits. And, as recent studies have demonstrated…

This simple nutrient is more powerful
than mainstream’s 40-year-old go-to cancer treatment

Doctors have been using 5-FU (the generic name is Fluorouracil——trade name Adrucil) for decades now to “treat” cancer (I use that term very loosely). It’s technically an anti-metabolite because it “works” (also, used loosely) by inhibiting cell division. Ultimately, anti-metabolites cause cells to commit cellular suicide, called apoptosis. 

In a study published in Planta Medica on mice, researchers determined that 5-FU had a survival index of 263 percent. (The survival index is the percent of the survival increase following treatments.) Two-hundred and sixty three percent sounded pretty good——until bromelain came along and blasted it out of the water with a survival index of as much as 318 percent.

Because anti-metabolites mainly target the cells that divide the fastest, the cells of your intestines, hair follicles, and immune cells are in the line of fire right along with those rapidly-dividing cancer cells. That’s why chemotherapy comes along with side effects such as diarrhea, nausea, eye problems, poor appetite, low blood counts, skin reactions, hair thinning, nail changes, and hand-foot syndrome. (No wonder it has “FU” in the name…)

Ultimately it’s this inability to differentiate between cancer cells and healthy cells that leaves mainstream cancer treatments in the dark ages. But making use of compounds such as bromelain put cancer treatment light years ahead of its time

Clinical trials conducted in Europe in breast and colon cancer patients and in patients with plasmacytoma (cancer within the soft tissue or the skeleton) found that bromelain helped reduce the side effects of cancer and its treatments (nausea, gastrointestinal complaints, fatigue, and weight loss); it helped reduce the toxicity of the  tumors; and overall, it helped improve the quality of life.

Bromelain was especially beneficial in patients with plasmacytoma. When these patients were given bromelain, they experienced increased response rates, increased length of remission, and increased overall survival.

Now, two more exciting new findings are propelling bromelain into cancer-killing superstar status——and for good reason. According to a study recently published in Molecular Carcinogenesis, bromelain can do what few others can: It can kill cancer cell directly.

Researchers who already knew about bromelain’s abilities to work as an adjunct for chemotherapy set out to determine if bromelain would be effective by itself. They found that the answer was a big Y-E-S. In the study, bromelain directly knocked out a carcinogenic gene signal, NF-kappaB——and the inflammation that goes along with cancer. It also unleashed an all-out free radical assault on cancer cells, killing them while leaving the healthy cells alone.

That’s great news——but it’s about to get even better. Because less than a year after this study was published, the same researchers published another study on bromelain. Yet again, they had made an exciting new discovery…

This process, called autophagy, is actually normal in healthy cells. It’s a way of cleaning house. (Now that’s the kind of maid I’d pay good money for!) But in cancer cells this house-cleaning doesn’t take place, and cells continue to multiply unabated.

Your body’s own protease enzymes usually take care of this job, but over time, they wear out, slow down, and clunk out. That’s exactly why it makes sense to supplement with bromelain, since it contains these house-cleaning protease enzymes. 

Of course, bromelain isn’t the only substance that has the ability to distinguish the good guys from the bad——and to induce cell death in cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone. You can add bromelain to a growing list of natural substances that have cancer-fighting abilities, including green tea, tocotrienols, and resveratrol.

But you won’t hear about them from your doctor… they’ll never receive FDA approval… and they’re treated as frauds by a medical community that only deals with profitable cancer therapies, no matter how harmful and ineffective they may be.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to sit around and wait for the FDA to approve a synthetic substance that does its best to mimic bromelain’s benefits. Even if that happens, it’ll never come close to the real thing (and who knows what side effects it’ll carry on its label).

So how do you get your hands on the real thing? Simple…eat more pineapples! Pineapples are loaded with bromelain and all of its cancer-killing properties. After that, the best thing you can do is to start taking a bromelain supplement.
